Built by Cleaners, Not Consultants
CleanBucks came from 14+ years of real cleaning work, real customers, real hiring problems, and real operator lessons. Not a consulting deck. Not a franchise playbook. Not a course.
Started with one van.
CleanBucks started the way most real cleaning businesses start: a husband and wife, one van, a pile of supplies, and a phone that needed to keep ringing.
No investors. No corporate office. No franchise consultant on a call telling us what to do. We learned the business by doing the work — answering the phone, quoting the jobs, cleaning the homes, hiring the team, fixing the mistakes, and earning the next review.
Every system inside CleanBucks came from a real problem we hit first. Pricing, scheduling, upsells, dispatch, hiring, customer follow-up, reviews — none of it was theory. It was the thing we wished we'd had on day one.
What we learned the hard way
Eight things that quietly decide whether a cleaning business grows or stalls. Each one cost us something to learn.
Answer the phone fast
The operator who picks up first usually wins the job. Speed-to-lead beats almost every other marketing trick.
Upsell every job
Fridges, ovens, baseboards, windows. Small add-ons compound into real revenue when you ask every time.
Track time honestly
If you don't know how long jobs actually take, you can't price them. Time is the only real input.
Close out jobs cleanly
Walkthroughs, photos, and tight handoffs prevent callbacks, refunds, and bad reviews.
Ask for reviews
Most customers won't leave one unless you ask, on the day, in the right way. Reviews are the local moat.
Hire constantly
Cleaning has turnover. You hire ahead of demand or you fall behind. Always be recruiting.
Follow up fast
A missed quote, a quiet customer, a small complaint — fast follow-up turns most of it back into revenue.
Stay visible locally
Wrapped vans, yard signs, neighborhood routes. People hire who they see. Visibility is recurring marketing.
Why we built CleanBucks
Over the years we ended up building two things side by side. 10BucksARoom — the customer-facing brand intentionally designed to stand out locally, create curiosity, and drive inbound calls. And the CleanBucks operator system — the behind-the-scenes way the business actually runs: pricing, phones, app, scheduling, hiring, follow-up, reviews.
The two hardest parts of the cleaning industry are getting the phone to ring and running operations correctly once it does. 10BucksARoom was built to address the first. CleanBucks was built to address the second.
CleanBucks was created so new operators don't begin from zero. Instead of spending a year figuring out what to charge, how to staff, what app to use, and how to get noticed locally — you start with the brand and the system already built.
Same brand. Same pricing model. Same app. Same playbook. Your territory.
What we are not
Easier to say what this isn't than to keep over-explaining what it is.
Not a franchise
No royalty on revenue. No long-term contract. No franchisor approval for daily decisions.
Not a guru course
Not a PDF, not a webinar funnel, not a coaching upsell ladder. It is an operating system.
Not corporate theory
Built from real jobs, real customers, and real hiring problems — not a consulting deck.
Not passive income
Cleaning is real work. The system makes the work scalable. It does not remove the work.
Cleaning is real work. Real work plus systems becomes a real business.
That is the difference between a cleaning job and a cleaning business. Same hours. Different outcome.

Want the system we wished we'd had on day one?
Territories are limited and assigned one operator at a time. If your city is still open, you can start with the same system we use to run real cleaning operations every day.
